Cosy Lunch, After going on a dog walk around Esher the only place you want to stop is Marneys!
100% dog friendly so Betty (our cockerpoo) got herself a biscuit on arrival while myself and my Mum enjoyed a glass of prosecco.
To start we shared a scrumptious, baked camembert with a whole roasted garlic that was absolutely delicious!
Followed by a beautifully presented, homemade tomato and red pepper soup with crusty bread that was to die for!
The waitresses were all smiley and friendly in a homely candle lit environment... what more could you ask for!!
Definitely worth a visit.

Had another lovely evening at Marney’s! The new year has brought in pizza nights on a Friday and Saturday night. My particular favourite is the camenbert and caramelised onion. They are serving meat and veggie options. I sampled margarita which is always a winner and ‘The Posh One’ which was rocket and panchetta with a blue cheese and mushroom. The pub was buzzy with a great atmosphere and the staff very attentive. Would highly recommend to sit in for pizza or if popping in for a drink on the way home then I hear they also do take aways!

Great little place continually overlooked!
It was quite by chance that i was told about this place that i passed hundreds of times! on arrival. the food was great a little gastro pub in our midst and we knew nothing about it. Was this a conspiracy by locals who didn't want to share their luck? food was superb and cant wait to return, Sunday roasts are lovely freshly made, service is great and location opposite duck pond, will be lovely when better weather returns, only gripe is kitchen closes too early on Sundays, but maybe thats why everything is good!

Stumbled on this pub by chance. Been back several times. Lovely pub to sit outside in the summer. Wish it was my local

The best inn for miles around,, not only for location but serving the best Sunday lunch. They go that little bit extra with their fabulous Cauliflower cheese!

Second visit here
Couple of things that were wrong on first visit now rectified
The roast beef was absolutely lovely and loads of it
Everything on the plate was delicious
Cauliflower cheese gorgeous
If I had to make one tiny criticism then it is that the plates were not warm
Now my go to place for Sunday roast

Great atmosphere and even better food. Shame there aren’t more tables. It’s a cosy, original, old style and fab pub.

Went here a couple of weeks ago for lunch and had the best bacon and Brie sandwich (baguette) ever. Loads of bacon and well melted cheese: absolutely delicious.
We went for lunch last Sunday and the sandwich experience wasn’t a one off. Excellent lunch, huge portions of well cooked food and very friendly and efficient service. Altogether first class.

Afternoon in the Sun
I have lived near this pub for 14 uears now and they have been very up and down with quality of the experience however they have always had good intentions, they now seemingly have found good consistency in there service, food and overall experience.
There is a perfectly located garden opposite a pond and golf course. It was the perfect location to end the day and relax. Will continue to go for a relaxing evening drink for as long as i live in the area.
